Neutering...

I'll most likely be getting Kaige neutered next month, he'll be about 7.5-8 months old then.
I usually reccomend neutering at about 6 months, but for an experienced owner I prefer they wait until they are at least 6 months. I just personally beieve that it has to affect their health slightly. I personally like to wait until the dog is full grown BUT I work with him EVERYDAY ALLDAY, he goes to work with me even, we are constantly socializing & training. If I couldn't work with him so much to keep the associated behaviors at bay you'd be sure that I would neuter by the time they are 6 months of age.

The bigger the breed the longer I like to wait.

If you can't devote a LOT of your time AND aren't experienced with training AND aren't active in obedience classes I suggest you neuter him no later than 6 months of age.

I also forgot to add that if you do decide to wait you also have to make sure you keep your dog under complete control, NEVER allow them out of your site or off a lead either.
