I've got a good one for you.I rescued an Akita from our local animal control.At first they listed him as a black lab.When someone with sense figured out what he eas they were going to put him down after 4wks.because of his breed.Thank God i got him on his third week.I still want to know how you confuse a lab with an akita?

lol I remeber the firsy Vet we took Shadow too insisted that Shadow was a cocker spanial..she is a border collie x Sheltie and anyone with a brain can figer that out because both breeds are VERY obvious and every lay person off the street has been able to guess correctly. lol

We have a Sheltie or Collie/Border Collie mix at the kennel I work at right now...one of my coworkers walked up to the lady and said wow, I've never seen a black and white sheltie in person. And the lady goes "Oh, shes a purebred border collie, we have papers" real snotty like. My coworker just said oh okay and walked away...and let me tell you, this dog looked just like Bijou, just black and white, and was about as big as a sheltie.
