    The only thing that really upsets me is that people "give away" their pets every day. And its not a question of how much they WERE loved, its more a question of WILL they still be loved in their new home?? And its scary, because those scenarios aren't made up. They have REALLY happened to someone before

    i think it means they let the young racing greyhounds practice on the rabbits

    Yup I think that's true. I don't think the rabbits are actually HARMED but, still. Would you want your pet rabbit being chased and scared out of its mind??

    well, rabbits are eaten live my large reptiles all the time.

    Yes, but not PET rabbits. Some rabbits (like mice) are bred specifically for reptile food.

    How would you like it if you had to give up your pet rabbit whom you've loved dearly to soemone who PROMISES to love and take care of it as you did.. only to find out later that yeah, the rabbit sure was loved as part of a python's dinner.
