I use a ceramic bowl for the dry food and a big wide glass for drinking water. There's one glass in the kitchen next to his food and one in the bedroom - he prefers the one in the bedroom!

For those of you who give you cat or dog wet food, I think a metal one will be best, or a ceramic one. However it should be one with no colouring in the glaze and also hi temperature burnt glaze.
