I thought the same thing, he was pretty high up, above the water. And, thank you, I hope you like the rest of them, too!Originally Posted by lvpets2002

Great pictures! I really like the goats, and the sealions they are my favorite animals to watch at the zoo.
I've been Defrosted!
Thanks for the great signature Kay!
The goats were very sweet, and, the photos turned out well. I love watching them feed and work with the sea lions, too...We were able to catch their feeding that morning, it was pretty cool. There used to be this old, BIG male there that we all knew as "Fat Albert," but, it's been awhile since I have heard his name, so, he must have passed away. The male now weighs about 400+ pounds. They're so cute on land and beautiful in the water!Originally Posted by Uabassoon

Kari, I love Riverbanks Zoo.Your pictures are terrific! Did you happen to go into the area where the Lorikeets are? I think that was my absolute favorite thing when we were down there with the kids and my parents a couple of years ago. Those birds fascinate me!

What beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing your lovely day with us!
There are so many that I like but a few really stood out. Like the first pic of the bear, the sun shining, the water trickling in the background it just all fits together. The first one of the sea lion, the way the sun is shining on him is beautiful! The first pic of the Giraffes, she's so close to the camera (or so it seems). And I love the lion fish (is that what they are?). I have an absolute terrible time trying to get pics of fish through glass.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
Wow!! They are fantastic pics!! I love the zoo...
