    My tool of the trade is a Canon PowerShot A300. "Only" 3.2MP camera, but MP don't mean anything, its how you use the camera. You can have a novice user with a 12MP camera and have pictures come out worse than someone using a 3MP :P But I STRONGLY recommend the PowerShot series to ANYONE looking into purchasing a digital camera. Kodaks may be cheap but the price you pay for a Kodak you can get a Canon with 3x the quality
