I love this thread! Mostly because I work in Transportation...it just struck me as hilarious! (How are the cones doing anyway, Wolf Q?)

A couple other favorites are the Purrno thread and the Catolympics. I also love THURSDAYS!

It was funny not long after reading that post, we had an article in the local paper about Road Cones going missing, apparently they cost $40 dollars each.

It was funny not long after reading that post, we had an article in the local paper about Road Cones going missing, apparently they cost $40 dollars each.

They are quite expensive. The reason is is that they have to be tested to be compliant with national and state regulations. Cones go through rigorus screening before they can start working. Cones too old generally are put to sleep, but some nice people decide to give a retired cones homes.
