When Eddie got burned, there were a lot of us with "excess skin" that offered it for transplanting onto him and they told us that, that is a foreign source and his body would reject it, that is why they had to use the autographs (his own skin from unburned part of his body) and the Epicel (lab grown skin from cells from his own skin). Doing that will be the same as having a heart or kidney transplant and there is always a chance the body will reject it. I wouldn't do it myself....
