Oh, I'm so sorry about Alice!! That sounds so tragic..."car accidents" involving animals is always so tough!! I know I've never gotten over the death of my dog, Bandit, and that happened 3 1/2 years ago...he didn't get hit by a car, but he fell in a certain way that he ruined his nervous system. It was awful, and there was no gurantee he would ever get better! -sigh- I still cry to think about that dreadful day when I had to make the decision to put him out of his misery...it was sooo tough! ((hugs)) to you!
