hi there.. we have a malamute/husky part wolf pup (well 11months old now) and expecting our first baby next month and we were worried about if our dog would be good with the baby and getting use to having someone else around but so far she seems to be fine with our friends 6 month old. I think it just depends on the dog, and also if the baby or child is "messing" with the dog to the point where the dog attacks. Either that or the dog is just extremly jealous and will do anything to retreat, sometimes it takes some obedience training with some dogs, but some dogs are goodwith children and protect to house; i wouldnt know what kind sorry to say. but i hope you find one.
