Well, according to my dog breed book, it's the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which originated in the Middle Ages. Or, it's the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which originated in the 900's! That's a loooooong time ago! The Border Collie originated in the 1700's. (I'm going to try to tell everone when their breed originated, unless they already said so!)
