Thread: Doing business on carpet, HELP!!

    Patti, welcome to Pet Talk. Elimination problems with some of my furkids occured when they were very young. You might try placing the litter box over the inappropriate place. Cats have a sense of smell far beyond that of a human, and any time the can smell anything that reminds them of elimination, that is where it will be done. She will eventually settle down to a routine of living in the house, provided that she is not upset with too many interruptions. BTW, she is a very beautiful cat. I have a flamepoint Siamese also, his name is Snow Cat. But I have no photos of him yet.
