I clicked on the link to the web page, just that page, didn't dare venture further. I'm pretty sure nothing on that kind of scale is happening here in Australia. Well,much smaller population and more widely spread here. Sure, there's animal cruelty and abandoned animals, shelters etc (in the cities anyway, of which there are about 6 major ones - cities that is) but I've never heard of anything like this, it breaks my heart. I don't think I'll come back to the doghouse again, I'll stick to the happy bits, you know, bury my head in the sand. Sorry. I'm glad I live here, sometimes. Mind you, how they treat illegal refugees here isn't much better, but I won't get onto that, bit too controversial. Humans, generally, aren't a very nice species are we?
