I'm excited. My brother's dad has been looking for a dog. He really wants a border collie, because he likes the look of them, but he wants a dog that will sleep on the porch all day. The other day he asked me to check with everyone I know, or look on the internet, for any cheap or free dogs under a year, especially if they are black and white or have border collie or springer spaniel in them. Turns out that my friend's dog had a litter of puppies (accidental litter). Shi-tzu/collie mixes. Explain that one to me. 12 of them, all black and white except one brown one. They will probably be free. I told Hugh, and he says to hang on to their number and when the pups turn 6 weeks he will go and take a look at them (they are trying to get rid of the pups right now -- 3 weeks old! ).

I think this will be alot better than him getting a border collie. My friend said the pups look like border collie pups -- so I'm hoping it will look somewhat like a BC but with a shi-tzu behaviour. I'm happy because now he won't get a BC and then regret it and give the dog away or something.
