My RB Shih Tzu Angie didn't like the camera either. I think it reminded her of lightening.
Maybe that's it with Cocoa too. Two nights ago it was thundering and lighting out, and I woke up at 4am to find Cocoa curled up and shaking under my arm - and she doesn't even usually sleep with me. I told her it was okay though, and we both fell back asleep.
