Having Scandinavian parents, I grew up with hearing my mother mutter "Uffda" all day long!Curse word???????? NOT! Every Scandianavian gift shop has coffee mugs, napkins, dish towels, etc. with Uffda! printed on them. Please!
As for those wicked, selfish, thoughless parents.....You're right Richard! "It's all about me, all the time, every day, in every way......ME, ME, ME!!" I'm sure some sort of arrangements could be made so that the child and the dog and the "allergic" kids could be accomodated! Grrr!
