I think it's funny all of you said something along the line "...but, my vet gave it to me..." like it makes it safer than if you went to the store and bought it off the counter with out a prescription.
The reason I said that, is that I trust my vet 100% There's a reason she does the job that she does, and it is because she truly loves animals, and wants to keep them healthy.

I also buy over the counter meds for myself, but not many. I have to take meds every day, and whenever I need something for a cold or whatever, I check with the pharmacist first, so I know it does not affect my other meds.

Not giving any flak, just explaining where I am coming from!!
