Rest assured Aly, he's in a REALLY safe place. Between Southside Animal Shelter in Indy (where Max and Sammy and Liz's Moki came from) and Pet Refuge in Mishawaka, IN, I'm not sure which I would choose as the best shelter I've ever dealt with. Pet Refuge is EXTREMELY active in the Mishawaka/South Bend, IN area and pretty durn powerful too. They are a no kill shelter with most of the pooches being fostered in the volunteers homes. If I were a dog that needed to be rescued or had to end up in a shelter, I would choose either Rosie's place or Pet Refuge. They treat the animals like their own family members and get very attached to them. They are well taken care of and loved the entire time they are at the shelter or in the foster program. I'm sure he won't last long, but I will be more than happy to put in a good word for you if you want him. Isn't he a sweetie?? Bocifus (the Lab that was abandoned with him) is also a doll.
