I'll answer this one for each of my kids

Q. How old is your child?
2
Q. Is your child male or female?
male
Q. What type of children’s book catches your/their eye?
any bright, color pictures, preferably with trains
Q. Are you more likely to buy a book which has an educational idea behind it for your child?
absolutely
Q. Would you be interested in a book with an animal conservation theme behind it for your child?
It depends on the content. If it is encouraging them to give up eating meat and wearing animal products then No. If it simply about protecting our planet then yes
Q. Does your child listen to audio books?
yes
Q. Is cost an important factor to you when buying children’s books? If so how much are you willing to pay?
I would not pay more than $5 for a small board book or more than $10 for a larger children's book
Q. What’s your child’s favourite colour?
dark blue
Q. Does the font size make a difference to whether you buy it? Do you prefer bigger or smaller fonts for your child’s books?
As long as the font is big enough to read comfortably from a few feet away it doesn't matter much
Q. Is the size of a children’s book an important factor to you? Does your child find bigger/smaller books easier? If so which one is easiest?
I prefer books that are no larger in dimensions than a piece of printer paper. He has an easier time with larger books.
Q. Does your child like different textures in a book?
He did when he was younger. At this point he doesn't care anymore
Q. Does your child like lots of different characters in a book, or just a few?
At his age he seems to prefer fewer characters that he can keep track of.
