I agree with Freedom - cats don't like leftover cold food. I usually put a couple of drops of warm water into Eve's when it's cold, mix it well and let it sit to warm for a few minutes before offering it to her. Also it smells different than when it's first openedShe turns her pretty little nose up at leftovers

We will definitely keep our fingers crossed for Fister and pray for a good outcome with the vet. Fister is still in his prime - 12 years is not "old"; it's distinguishedHe is quieter and more subdued and perhaps that's a function of his age however, I'm sure he has many good years ahead of him

Also, I hope your visit is fun and pleasant for you. It's always nice to get away and spend time with people you don't often see. Your neighbour sounds wonderful and I'm sure she and Fister will also have a good visit together.
