And for icing on the cake, you are now being honoured as DOTD . . . I am delighted to have met you today and read all about you!

I grew up with a collie that was also sable like you, and she was a fantastic companion. Whenever I see one (which is rare) I have to stop, pull over and chat with the person, ask the dog's name, etc. Such fond memories get stirred.
