Barkley, not only are you almost our neighbor, but our Mom says you have the same fear of thunder/rain as Delilah. Just this morning at 2 a.m. it was raining and Mom couldn't forget Delilah jumping on top of her chest, waking her from a sound sleep. Our Mom says she can really relate to you Barkley. We both have lived in Florida all of our lives too. What a handsome gentleman you are Sir Barkley!! A perfect mix of two wonderful breeds! We love that charming, smiley, face of yours sweetie!! You look like the sweetest big lug in town We're very sad to hear you were abused in your earlier life. What a horrid thing for any precious baby to endure. No wonder you don't like men. Barkley, we think abusive people are despicable and oh how we would love to give them some of their own medicine. The good thing is, Barkley, now you have a wonderful life with a family that loves you. Now you know what it's like to be loved and appreciated and that certainly makes us happy We wish you continued happiness with your loving human bed buddy and we really hope you can develop a lasting relationship with Rick.
