Oh, your Mom is so right! If only more people would realize that the most precious of gems are there for the loving, just a shelter visit away! It sounds like your Mom is very devoted to resuce work and for that, my heartfelt thanks! I too am involved in resuce work and have to say that it does take a bit of time, patience and lots of love, to help a resuce adjust to her/his new home! Thankfully there are lots of people out there like your Mom, willing to do just that...make a lifetime commitment to a deserving animal! I had to laugh when I read your Mom's lament...Savannah is more work than our Labs"...Being a Lab Mom myself, I had to think hmmm, now that's a handful But as she says, well worth the effort! You've melted my heart Savannah and I'm mere putty in your paws!!! I wish for you and your family, skinned and furry, a lifetime of unconditional love and devoted companionship!
