    Getting another cat

    Well it seems as thought I am getting another cat. My fiance's brother has a cat that they cannot take to Japan with them and she will be joining the current family of 2 cats and one dog (akita) my only question is the cat has been declawed and mine haven't. Should I be concerned that she doesn't have front claws where the other two do?

    Do not be concerned. Cats rarely use their claws against other cats. You can help by keeping the front claws trimmed though as it will prevent accidental scratches.

    Congratulations and remember to introduce them SLOWLY!
