WEll this morning,, her poor ears are still swollen and she is very sleepy from the benadryll we have had to give her last night and this morning,,, I called my reg Vet and they want to give until noon today,, if her ears arent improved,, she will have to go in for some more drastic treatment of some kind.... she is in pain for sure as if you try to feel her ears,, no matter how gentle I am,, she pulls away and squirms,, almost making a face at me,,,, she is sleeping on the couch all curled up in a blanket for the time being,,,, Man,,, its been so stressful,, between Lucy and this storm that hit us over the weekend,,, its been hell on wheels!!!! We have over 100.000 ppl without power,,,, school closures,,, and its snowing again! At least we havent lost power..... so far!

things will be better as soon as my Lucy is better,,, nothing is right unless she is! You know what I mean? thanks for the thoughts and inquiries about her,,, I am a very stressed out mommy here!!!!!

Lucy still has a slightly swollen ear but she is better,,, the vet said she is concerned that the type of tumor that the thing might be,,, when its aggravated,, it can release enuff chemical (Cant recall the right word she used) to cause her to react badly,, much like the allergic type reaction she had expeirenced.. so in the end,, we really have to opt for surgery.... DAMN! and right before Xmas too,,, dont the timing just bite eh?? LOL,,, No time is a good time for surgery tho,, but if she needs it,,, She will get it. for now,, she will have more benedryll until her ear is better.

Poor Lucy...and Lorraine! You must be one stressed mommy So sorry to hear the surgery is a certainty I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, sweet Lucy! Well,,, knock on wood,,, this morning her lil ears are normal at last!!!!!!! now we just have to swing together the $$ for her surgery,,, the emerg visit on top of the regular vet visit kinda did us in for any operation money this week..... at least she is herself for the first time in a long while! I just hope she stays that way,, my nerves couldnt deal with much else right now!!!
