    Are you ready for this???

    Here come the pictures!

You can't see it properly, but Lynne is holding a sign saying"UK Pet Talk Meeting". Somewhat inaccurate, since we hadn't been able to put out a general invitation, but we felt something was needed. No expense was spared in the making of this sign. I hope Lynne's diary doesn't fall to bits without that page.

Never let it be said that Pet Talk is not educational. Did you know that Woodrow Wilson's mother was born in Carlisle? I'll bet you didn't.

If you can't see it very well it says "The Mother of Thomas Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States of America was born in Carlisle. Her father, the Reverend Thomas Woodrow MA was minister of this church, then worshipping in Annetwell Street, from February 1820 to June 1835. This tablet is placed here to commemorate President Woodrow Wilson's "Pilgrimage of the Heart" to this church, 29th December 1918."

There are some serious walls in the middle of the town. I spent some time in Carlisle in 1981, but I'm sure this wasn't there then. Well you would think I'd remember something that big wouldn't you?

Eventually though we had to head back to the station

(picture just to prove we were there!)

It was a great day. When are you all coming to meet us?

So, Kelly it's Chelsea in 2007 is it? It's in my diary

Wow, Hi there. Nice to see faces to go with the names.

    Beautiful pictures.
I was telling Gini that I might be able to swing it in 2006, but that's a mighty big "might". We'll see when the time comes.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Good grief - quick work Karen!!

    **Waves** Hi all!!

Right so it's 2007? Or 2006 depending on the swingability!!
(Wouldn't it be wonderful if this came to pass?)

Oh, I'm all excited already. I'll never keep this up until 2006! Perhaps we could charter a Pet Talk plane, because I see from Gini's 5000 thread that a swing through Europe is being talked about. It doesn't take much for us to get carried away does it. Hehehehe.
