These kittens are adorable. Moosmom gave great advice. Any chance on getting the mom spayed?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Sara,

Is Macy feral at all?? The critical time for kittens to be separated from their feral mom is between 4-6 weeks. Sounds like you got them right in time.

Macy sounds like she's making great progress. It's time to work on socializing her babies. I don't think Macy will have a problem with her babies being in a cage. It might be best to keep the cage in a separate room with the door closed. This way she won't see what is going on.

One of the sure signs that Macy might be pregnant again is her nipples will be showing and be pink. You can still have her spayed before her kittens are born, if she is indeed pregnant. It might cost a little more, but why bring more kittens into the world??? I know some people are grossed out by this, but the procedure takes the entire uterus out. The babies are never born.

    Keep us posted, okay??

This does not grose me out at all! We've had to do this with several of our ferals. It's better than the kittens being born with no one to care for them. Sorry, it's how I feel. I see way too many unwanted litters to feel any other way.

    All advice has been given:

    Handle those babies!!

    And spay that momma!

When I got my last litter of 5 kittens caught outside, they were varying degrees of wild. But I used the towel trick on the ones I needed to, and they all came around to be pefectly content and are now doing well in their new homes.

    They really ARE cute!

Oh I would take her in a heartbeat, if I lived closer. Is Macy a silver tabby? Gosh she is soooo pretty and her babies are soooo adorable.
I wish you all the best in socializing them and finding them forever homes.
