H Rupee in Dorset, England, U.K.! Happy Pet of the Day!

WOW!!! What a magnificent, breathtakingly beautiful Eclectus you are, Rupee! Your bright red (with splashes of purple) plumage is eye popping, simply stunning! I've had the pleasure of honoring many an Eclectus here on Pet of the Day, but I'm embarrassed to say it was not until today did I know that all you red feathered kids are girls, those with green plumage, boys! Well, not sure if it applies to all female Eclectus, but suffice it to say your personality is every bit as bright and beautiful as your coloring would imply; your joy for life unbridled!

What a blast it must be for your human, having you accompany him/her to those gigs! And what a treat for the patrons, watching you do your thing, singing and dancing to the music, making their night so extra special!

I take her everywhere - to the shop, to the pub, to the zoo! When my band busks on the street or plays a gig, Rupee always comes along to dance and sing and people really enjoy petting her and talking to her

And what a lucky girl YOU are, Rupee, treated to all of those fun adventures out of the house, accompanying your human wherever she/he goes, from shops to the zoo to the pub! Talk about living the good life!

How very lucky your human is, Rupee, having a best friend and fellow band mate, a beautiful, joyful and life loving feathered family member in you, Rupee! Inside and out you couldn't be any more special if you tried, Rupee!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, seeing your gorgeous pics and reading your human's heartwarming tribute, learning of the very special bond you two share has been such a treat! I hope you're being treated to a very special day of celebration...heading out for a day on the town (after a nice, warm, shower, hehe!); serenading your human with a round of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star;" receiving tons of love, skritches and kisses; being spoiled to the max and loved to bits! Dearest Rupee, what a ravishing Eclectus Parrot you are, indeed! Those bright red and purple feathers are an amazing color, absolutely stunning. You are an amazing introduction for me to the Eclectus Parrot! I never knew about Eclectus parrots, with such stunning coloring. And you're the female version, with the red and purple feathers. The male Eclectus is green! You have quite a delightful personality, too. You love to talk, and you love to sing, too. You do an excellent rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and you even hum along to opera! You love taking warm showers and coming out looking like a dinosaur! What you love best is going outside. Your dear person takes you everywhere! You dance and sing along with her/his band, and people enjoy petting you and talking with you. You're your person's best friend! You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
