Please do try very hard to keep the socks away from Charlie many a young Doberman have lost their lives to sock eating they even have nicknames of Dobergoats.Know Charlie is not a Doberman he is a very fine looking English Cocker. Many Doberman s have also had to have major very expensive surgery to remove socks and other foreign objects.papbouv

I just want to reassure everyone Charlie doesn't get the chance to eat socks now I am very careful with him He did as a pup but went to the vet and was fine has never needed surgery socks have always emerged safely They were light cotton but i understand the issue

Hi there fella. What a handsome dude you are and oh so lucky to have such a loving family.

Note: A family member of mine had a lovely dog named Charlie. Charlie ate socks. So many that the second time he had to have surgery, it was too late. He went through dozens of socks before he had the LAST ONE. Don't ask me why his owners didn't control the sock eating more closely, I'll never know. It did cost thousands of dollars and in the end, the life of the dog. It appears to be an obsession with some dogs and is tough to control. I know your family is being very careful with you and that is good.

Anywho, Charlie, I have never seen a dog like you before. Your coloring is quite unusual and yet so beautiful. Oh, that's right, you're a guy dog. Your fur coloring is handsome. How's that?
