Please pray for Max

Hi all,

Please pray really hard for Max the Weim. Wednesday night he ate 80 800 mg ibuprofin and went into a coma and was given a 10% chance to live. The vet told us to say our goodbyes because he figured he'd die during the night. When Mike called at 1am from work they told him that Max was awake and responsive and then I called at 7am he was up and walking. When I went in at 12:30 to visit he was almost my old Max. We played ball and gave kisses etc. He truly is the miracle dog. I don't think I've ever prayed so hard in all my life. I swear to you guys that God touched those people and gave Max the strength to live. There truly is no other explanation. They are doing a kidney and liver profile today to find out how much damage was done, so pray there wasn't much done. No one expected him to live at all. The girls at the emergency hospital have really fallen in love with him.

Oh Molly! What horrible news! Why didn't you tell us sooner?!

Is Max stable? Do they know if he has a chance to make it through this? He is such a sweet guy.

Ok, add to the miracle of Max...the kidney and liver scan were "amazingly good" this from the vet. We get to bring him home at 3:00 this afternoon. We are to follow up with Dr. B on Monday and have the scans done again. God thank you!!! Thank all of you too for your prayers and good thoughts. We will keep you updated, although, unless Mike gets one of the puters up this weekend, it won't be until Monday. Hopefully he can get it up and running tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again.
