I need a new guard dog.....

Woke up this morning, going through the usual routine, when I looked outside and realized I need a new guard dog.

The county road crew was outside, in the driveway, replacing a culvert that washed out, and Lady didn't say anything. Not even a peep.

The Orange Barrel that they put out the night of the flooding, however, got a good barking tirade the morning after they put it out.

LOL I think I need a new one too

Last night my sister(who works nights) came home about 2:30 am. She didn't have the house keys so she was banging on the door. I'm the only one that sleeps downstairs. I heard Roxie barking and heard her knocking. I looked down and Maggie is passed out on the floor.

You can borrow Roxie if you want. She'll protect you from the evil road crew!

hehe. Cyrus is an odd pooch. Anything odd going on outside gets a good barking at, but anything BAD happening in the house, he's runs away from & hides near my bathroom & bedroom door in the basement

Rose asked me if I think Cyrus would protect her if she was attacked. I said nope, he'll run with his tail between his legs in fear, cause when Francois starts yelling, Cyrus runs & hides near my place. Hes no guard dog, hes 100% pet Oh but if you were being attacked by a cat, he'd eat the cat lol Just wont touch a human

I know the feeling 3 bigger dogs and no one barks at strangers just family when they come over.
