Miley the cat, in the tub!

Here is a photo I took just moments ago. Miley girl likes to walk around in bath / shower water. Graemer would rather watch.

Sorry for the awful caulking around the tub. I did it myself and it was such a mess. I didn't have a caulking gun! Next time will be better. And the yuckie stuff around the tub is paint residue left from when I painted my house. The old tub surface absorbed the paint tint. (Don't want you guys to think I don't clean my house and bathroom)....

Anyway, I shall take more pictures later this week.

She does look at ease in that water! If I let him Foxy would do the same, the little devil loves to play with water (not very nice when you just have finished to wash the floors of the entire place).

Great picture!!!! I could never imagine either of my boys knee deep in bathtub water, although Andy does like to stick his paw under the stream of water from the faucet.

sasvermont! A lovely picture! We have a big bathroom, but no bathtub (John really miss that, he's english) I'm pretty sure that if we had, Fister would be in it! He comes running out in the bathroom a couple of times a day, calling for us to pour water across the floor, he is totally obsessed with it. He licks it up and if he gets wet paws, thats OK too. Cats are funny!

Wow, Kitty would never do that! Miley looks like she's used to the water, is she? I bet if we would put some water in the tub, Casper might go there, but Kitty, never!

Last summer Miley got in the tub with a little girl who was visiting and bathing at the time. Miley doesn't really play in the water but does INVESTIGATE the items on the bottom - or floating near the top of the water....I think she thinks she is capturing something. She has been doing this for sometime now. I just haven't put the stopper in the drain to accumulate the water. I usually shower, so right after I am finished, both cats hop into the tub and lick the water as quickly as possible. Go figure!

Your picture caused me to have a flashback of my Theo and Zoe (RB). They always used to come in and when the water was draining would walk around the tub fishing? or whatever. I ended up locking them out because I could not enjoy my bubble baths. They would bat at the bubbles and try to eat them and climb on to body parts sticking out of the water. You also knew that they were outside the door carrying on to be let in ,sticking paws under the door. It was years before they let me bathe in peace. My two new abys also like the tub but we keep the door closed now. They have enough places to wreck havoc and I still have my sanctuary.

Great picture! Chester is my water baby. If it goes down a drain, he wants to watch. He doesn't like it over his feet though. He likes to bat at it.

When someone is in the bath or shower, Milo loves to sit and watch.... many times I think she wants to get in. She puts her hands on the side of the tub but then normally I back her off b/c I always have the water hot (and deep).

LOL Tubby likes to sit on the edge of the tub while I'm taking a bath, but he knows what bubbles are and doesn't want anything to do with them. When he was a kitten he would sniff them, and then start sneezing 'cause he got bubbles in his widdle nosey. He will even drink the bath water, with soap and everything in it. I try to stop him, but sometimes he gets a few laps in before I realize what he's up to.

That is another great picture sas. Tubby likes the edge of the tub, but he would never go in if there was water in it. He slipped once and put his front paw out to catch himself and you should have seen him trying to get back out without getting all four paws wet! It was like he was back paddling. Good thing I was there. Once I stopped laughing (bad mommie) I helped him out. He flipped his paw to get the water off and turned tail and left the bathroom.

LOL LOL How cute!! I can honestly say that's a first for me! Yes!! Post more pics!! I love it! How neat to have a water loving feline in the house! LOL That would be so much fun!
My Marius is only a water 'tester'. He'll dip his paw in running water, or a water dish...but that's about it!!
