    Prayers for cyber's Jack please? UPDATE #23

    Just got off the phone with the vet. Please send some good PT energy Jack's way. He ate a corn cob while my back was turned. I can't believe he ATE it. The vet said the next 24-48 hours are critical as to if it's going to cause a blockage on its way through. That would mean surgery.
    They said not to try & make him vomit because then it could lodge in his airway.

    I looked it up on the net & it looks like there is a pretty good chance it will just pass through.

    Oh man. What is going on with these PT Jacks? Was it a whole ear
    lengthwise, or a smaller cob? I sure hope this passes on it's own.

    whole ear. Not a huge diameter, it was a medium size ear of corn. Thanks for the prayers....

    My cocker/sheepdog mix (50 pound mutt) used to love corn cobs and we never thought anything of giving them to her to chew on . She would just chew them up like an edible nylabone. I hope Mr. Jack chewed it up and there will be NO problem! Oh please, please, please...
