Can the Orc help me? It is dark & spooky back there in the kitchen with all kinds of funny critters running around with hairless tails tails & big bugs the size of a saucer.

Sorry mate, but you're on ya own. I gave the Orc time off to go play in the compost bin.
Do what I do.....stand at the door and hose everything down from a distance :p

Do I dare ask for some help in cleaning up the bar? I think next Friday very early in the morning this place is going to be packed with guests here to watch the wedding on our big screen t.v.

We should probably make a list of teas to have on hand - and scones and clotted cream and a good jam.............what else?

Oh, lemon curd - one of my favorites - I could just stand there and eat the whole jar with a spoon.

We musn't forget the cucumber sandwiches, eaten of course with ones little finger sticking outwards. :D

I was just imagining the cucumbers with a little finger sticking out from the bread...lol...

The doctors are finally all in accord and fingers crossed, Richard will be home tomorrow. And not a moment too soon for Eddie. He tolerates me, but he definitely misses HIS human.

Not sure he'll feel up to opening the bar Thurs, but I'm sure he'll be on if I remember to keep the laptop charged up so that he can take care of orders from the comfort of his recliner.
