i almost think she should try volunteering at a shelter, and maybe then she will understand the over population probelm. But i guess she is just not wanting to listen to us sadly.
flatcoatluver, you always change your siggys and i love them all! your tj and zoey look too good together. and of course your kitties too!
well how do you know that i am just fourteen and there isnt anything that makes me more mad than someone calling me stupid especially when they dont even know me........anywayz just because i love my rabbit and have thought some things over dosent mean that i want to torture her.........you know i have always wanted some baby bunnies and i might even keep some for myself.......i can always get her spayed after the first little.........you i dont even care because people just get to over excited about these things.....but i understand that some of you think that other things are better but i used to have a bunny and she had babies and it was actually quiet exciting....so
so you have already had a rabbit have babies?
yes actually i have......she was a beautiful rabbit and i loved her dearly.....things happened and i had to move so i had to give her away.....although she was a very happy bunny..... i just couldnt let her travel that far
then you know you have to have a vet check the bunnies when they are born?
yes i know ......... but like i said i didnt even know in the first place if i was gonna let her have babies
well if you plan on keeping ALL the babies then it makes the situation better but instead of making your bunny have babies why dont you go to your shelter and find some babies or a pregnant mother that is due...it would be better and it would make you feel better aswell and if you want you can keep some babies as a frend for your bunny, but i hope you know not to put the babies near another rabbit or have another rabbit in the cage when the babbiies are born
that actually a great idea "but it almost sound like you want the babies for a thing to watch" or the joy of birth. It really is a sad situation but I think you need to do alot more reserch find a perfect boy bunny, because on you first post, of this topic you were looking for any old kind of bunny  Plus the male might be mean because he might be territorial. thats great, I hope you really did consider your situations and if you do breed wait and find the perfect male bunny and make sure you have home already lined up before you breed.

some people are not that smart
thank god you were one of the smart ones :)
thank goodness i really hope you dont breed if you love bunnies that much then you should adopt or even better foster some and educate people about them
I am VERY happy to hear that you've thought it over and decided against breeding. That just shows maturity on your part and thinking of the bunny and animal population above your own wants!! :)Quote:

The best advice in this thread is from Dab_20!
I really hope you don't breed your rabbit, but if you choose to do so, I hope everything goes smoothly.
it was a different situation though, plus she was my freind im not exactly gonna yell at her and i did suggest some of the pt people were right and for her to consider what they say and ya after 132 pages of people arguing ya im gonna step in and say stop...and im sorry i get a little uptight and call people names i just think its REALLY wrong..and she was acting stupid saying she has the money to get her spayed but shes not going to.....if you have any complaints about me plz pm me and not go off topic...
I agree with buttercup.Sometimes we all can get a little mad and say some harsh things that we shouldn't have saidQuote:

thanks very much. and buttercup, she IS NOT stupid. she came for advice, NOT critisizm. so when someone says they may breed, don't go off and start yelling at them. kindly tell them the facts. the fact is, you can not make someone half way across the country do something they don't want to. Sorry about this, Cristy.
Dont even bring Roxy and me into this! :mad:Quote:

Ummm.. she wasn't. She was referring to the thread, but was not bringing either one of you into it. She used the thread as reference only.Quote:

Don't worry about that other thread, Cristy. Glad you've reconsidered breeding her.
Another good site for rabbit info is http://rabbit.org - the house rabbit society. My bunny, Miss Hoppy, is the one you see as my avatar. I love her to pieces! :) Always wanted a bunny, then we bought our house and I got her! :)
What's your bunny's name? Is she litter-box trained?
i didint mean she was stupid i ment the way she was acting was, and we did convince some1 half way around the world to not breed her bunnies...Quote:

I know, but you can't convince everyone not to. I am glad we helped Cristy. My mom won't let me have msn anymore because of the sickos out there... :(
I had a bad problem aim so when i got a new computer, i never downloaded it. i am also now thinking about taking myspace off because there is tons of sickos.
yeah i know what yah mean. its like why can't they leave ppl alone?!?
Please try to keep unrelated stuff out of a thread - make a new one for a new topic.
Miss Hoppy was very easy to litterbox train, Cristy, is your bunny box-trained?
ok sorry karen
christy what is your bunny's name?I love to hear what pet people name there animals If you want could please post pics :)
well you know her name is princess peanut and i havent quit figured out how to litter box train her..... if you have any advice you can tell me and i will try my best to get her to that stage and i dont have any pics yet so i will have to try and download one.....if i can figure it out
HERE is a google search with TONS of articles on how to litter train rabbits! :) Good luck! Its fairly easy and LOTS of rabbits learn. But some just don't want to :(Quote:

If she's young, keep in mind that with bunnies it gets easier to train them as they grow up and their attention spans improve. At least, that was my experience. :)
