LOL LOL Lady & Possum probably would if they are like my dogs, especially if they've been worn  :o Don't worry Karen, Two Socks is rarely seen in these parts ;) too many people, and Peeps would give him a headache.

Oh, my father-in-law's labrador used to love socks! Well labradors will eat anything, won't they? Aww, what a lovely girl she was (when not running about with grotty old socks).
Would you just look at that - Slick DID open a Custard Stand in another thread. And she didn't even tell us about it.
Oh, I do so love old fashioned frozen custard. You can't get it on the west coast. I hope she brings some into the bar. Maybe if we ask her really nicely.
Grotty socks.........now THAT is a new one around here. :D :D
:D :D :D :D OMD....That's just what I love about Pet Talk. You leave a little tidbit on another thread and someone comes along, picks it and runs with it. God I love this place!!!
Well, my major screwup from yesterday has been fixed, I think! Thank goodness for backup tapes......Gini??? ;)
Oh and someone mentioned Networking?? I can do that. All you need is a PDC, some workstations with an ISP and hook them through a VPN....oh yes and you need Cat5 cables as well.
Any chance of getting a Spanish Coffee??? Off to work I go. See you all later.
Well I started the morning with water leaking through the ceiling in my living room. At least with the construction going on it was coming through the opened up ceiling and not destroying the plaster. Idiot men in the apartment above me, who have lived in this 100 year old building with steam heat for over 50 years, did NOT know that you're supposed to regularly drain the valves on the steam heat registers and the darned thing was leaking into MY apartment! Geez! Where's their sign?
I had to leave for work so left a dishpan under the leak. Now I just hope my goofy boy Mishi doesn't drink that water - UGH!
One Peep-tini for me, but hold the -tini :D
Slick, I think she was talking more about peer-to-peer networking where all need is a router and some cat5 - much more easily done in a bar than a VPN. ;)Quote:

Right now it's about 68 degrees outside, and it's about 64 in the office! I had to go to lunch just to warm up. But my furnace problems are coming to an end - they're installing a new one as I speak! Wooo hoooo!!!! Hope they finish today.......matter of fact, I think I'll change my drink to something warm....hmmm....warm slushie doesn't sound too appealing....
i was wondering what kind of Networkingwas being discussed in that thread. please really how old does she think we are? Lot older and wiser than her 30 years.
I would like a DLC going baby shopping with daughter before we both go towork this evening. gosh that feels good and bad at the same time to say.
Before some wise A$$ says any thing no not shopping for a baby. Just stuff for one. Ok :D :D :D
Hi ho, hi ho .....
Well why don't I get the coffee instead of frightening people with my singing? I've finished work now, and I'm just waiting for my dinner being ready. Our clocks went forward last weekend, so the time difference is even bigger this week. One Spanish coffee for Slick! Have a good day. Praise be for backup tapes!
I'll have to learn to type faster! How about a warm Spanish coffee, Debbie? I'm frightened to ask this, Corinna, but is DLC a drink? Where will I find it? Is it related to TLC? :D
I just recevied a reminder in my E-mail about San Francisco's St. Stupid's Day parade - it's a San Francsico tradition for April 1 and this year it's on a Saturday! My favorite part of the parade occurs in front of the Pacific Stock Exchange Building, except they turn it into a SOCK exchange! :D Yup! Socks flying all over the place - it's HILARIOUS! :D
 Would those be clean socks????? Do you have pictures? Should we pile into Davidp's car and head out to San Francisco?
Hey! If this is the 28th parade, that means that the one and only time I was in San Francisco, there was one on while I was there! And I missed it! Boo hoo!
I left my socks
In SanFrancisco
out on the street
They call to me..........

<SLAM>
Grunt,,,,
Someone say something about an ice cream maker? Just make sure it doesn't get into the L+F, MJ might get upset if we couldn't find it.
I went and got everything we need. Are there any more of those candy bars left? Or we could just make peep flavored ice cream?Quote:

Yumm! I'll have a scoop of that ice cream, but why is it BLUE? :D
I know I'm over the edge and PT has completely affected my life when I find myself at home on a Thursday evening, Googling Plush Peeps AND finding them! Bids are closing soon on E-Bay! :D
Blue peeps were the only ones I could find. And we were out of the candy bars. Ya know it's amazing what kind of flavors you can make for ice cream.Quote:

Shall we name the flavor Little Bloo Peep? (Sounds better than Bleep Ice cream!)
Yeah, I like that better than Bleep ice cream too. :D :D :DQuote:
