do hampsters growl?

Welcome to pet talk. I do not know if hamsters growl or not. Do you have one that growls?

Well....when Tico, my hamster, is feeling scared, he makes this noise. Its kind of like a growl, but I dont really know if thats what you would call it. But its just kind of a friendly warning, not a fierce thing. :rolleyes: Maybe my hamster is just...crazy....:confused:
