my betta!!!!

Well, I took a couple of days to get a betta after Citris and Caribbean left, because I miss them. Luckily, my dad made a trip to Grand Forks, ND and that is where I can find healthy betta's. I found the right one and here he is!!! -

Sorry the last two pics are kind of blurry! That is him though....and I need names! Any suggestions!?!?

He's really pretty! I want a betta, yet my mom won't let me get one. *sigh* I think he looks a bit like a Fireball :).

Thanks you two for the compliments!:) Fireball is really cute, but it doesn't really suit his personality. He is a little more shy, and I think Fireball is more of a bold name!
Anymore ideas for names? You can't really see in the pics, but a few striped of a purple-black are in his fins, and then it turns to solid purple on his back. Also, there is a tannish color that starts to mix in near his back, and he is more tannish with purple spots on his belly!

Hmm...then how about...Plum? haha I'm so original I know :rolleyes: More like Violet if he was a girl...Umm....It WILL hit me. I'll get back to you on other names :p.

As for your betta dieing, I am worried of that too, and I know that when he does (not for a VERY long time hopefully) I will of course be sad. You know that if you need any help, us PT'ers will be here to give you advise if your betta would start to look as if he is feeling ill. I hope that you get one though! They are so much fun!:D

Roxyluvsme, hehe, Plum is cute too. I don't know if that is my most favorite name though;) I can't wait for you to think of more names though:D

I noticed that he likes to pretend that he is attacking his food before he eats it! lol, I think that is so cute and funny..
