I really like those last ones. Could he possibly do Duke or does he just have certain patterns he uses?(since Duke is a mixed breed) If so, I would really be interested in one that has Duke's name in it. Those are cool.
Corinna

I'll check he would most likely use a shepard pattern. I'll post the answer here.
Hubby just walked though yes he could it will be a little more becouse of the custom work changing the lettering.

No problem what-so-ever. Like I said I am in NO hurry. I just knew that no one has posted on this topic in a while & I knew it would be harder to find if left un-replied to much longer. Take your time! :D

Oh thank you, I got it yesterday & I am amazed by the quality & detail. They are worth every penny!
What is the character limit for personalized ones?
Would Nanook's & Raustyk's names fit?
Could he do one like Nanook? Nanook is a mix but resembles a combination of shep & husky mix in the outline.
Corinna

That was fast mail I'm glad you liked it . Sure we can do both the others I think the shep or husky would work. any opinion one way or another.

Do you have a picture of a shep and of a husky so I could take a look. Some designs he looks more like the shep some it's more like the husky, sometimes even a wolf. lol
I probably wouldn't get them done until Spring so no hurry. ;)
could he do Happy and Misty? they are both BCs but they look very differnt from one another..

Ooo..I would like one of Camen. But not sure what breed would look like him?
He has such a distinct look to him.
He has a bushy curled tail.
What do you think?

kaige, happy & misty look awesome! (happy looks like he's going to fall apart.. lol) -
is happy & misty a bit darker than kaige's? depends on how much stain coats, right?
I want one soon! :D can you (or dugan's dad) PM me a golden retriever sample? do they have one that looks up?
Corinna
02-08-2006, 10:51 PM
Tim has been making them from pictures you send takes about 3 hours to draw them up. then about 3 more to cut and 1 hour to finish.
So send me a picture of Crayola looking up from the side view.
DugansDad

Kaige is made of oak with a walnut base. Misty and Happy are made of walnut with a hickory base. I try not to use stain and try to pick an appropriate wood to get close to color. I am using a Honduras Mahogany for a red Husky with a hickory base. If I get a side standing profile I can play on the computer for a while and come up with a pattern. Both Misty and Happy were done from a photo.

ah the kind of woods too, I forgot! so I see you like to do the contrasts?
I think oak would fit perfectly for a (my) golden. ;) hmm, I don't have any picture of crayola looking up but um, only have one sideview of him as he's always by my side. do you have any sample anyway, wasn't it what you used for kaige too?
great job, tim!
