Didn't want to mention the winter holiday name when Hallowe-en isn't even over yet! :-D

I recorded a CD way back in 1997. You can hear some clips here - it's easy on the ears, geared to Public Radio. Some Celtic, folk, instrumental - 17 tracks, 16 of them my originals.

I have about 200 left. Order from the site above. If they run out, PM me. I will need to charge a bit more as I don't get the shipping rate the company CDBaby does. It'll be about $13.00 US

I'll have to look at the site...it may recommend Quicktime or RealPlayer.

Anyone else figure this out?

Not I , as it says I need more codecs!
Whatever they may be.

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct."

I then saved it as a .m3u file on my desktop and when I tried to open it I got the same message.

:( :(

I'm using Windows XP with Media Player 10

I didn't get it to play, and I have Quicktime installed. It opened in iTunes, but says "Continuous" where it would usually put the time of the file, and nothing happens when I try to "play" it.

On my Linux machine it says "server unavailable" which usually means that the fault is at their end and not any of our machines. I'd suggest trying again later after they have had time to fix it. :)

Whomever put it up for you made a mistake, I think, because when I get info on the downloaded file, it says it is an "Internet Audio Playlist," not an MP3.

It's meant to be listened to online, if it could just be downloaded there would be nobody buying the CD! :)

OH dear. Even I couldn't log in (on artist's side) nor get my clips to play!

I think I have deleted the email account associated with this. I have emailed them, and will repost when it gets rectified.

I am SOOO sorry!

Thanks, let us know!

G535, most stuff you "listen to online" does download a file to your machine, at least to your cache, and then deletes it when you're done listening. And most audio clips are just a few bars of the song, not the whole thing, so you'd still have to buy the CD!

Great music Candace! I had no idea you were a singer/songwriter. Very cool. :)
