I went to my friend Sarah's house with my friend April
and we were in the pool when I heard her sister
scream "Ahhhh! Snake!", Sarah and I ran over and
by the time we got over there it was in the rocks by
the pond. We practiclly tore apart the pond trying to
get the poor snake out and April finally caught it as it
slithered out, he was sure pretty. Sarah's sister's
friend wanted to name it Sparks so thats what we
called it. After an hour or so of looking and holding it
we let him go in the rocks, but I did get some pictures!
But Sparks isn't the only one we found! At night Sarah's
mom was going crazy listening to the frogs ribbet in the
pond so Sarah, April, and I went out with a flash light
and caught two little guys, we put them in Sarah's tank
without thinking and they started ribbeting in there :o
So we ended just putting them back in the pond... :p
Okay, enough of the jabbering, here are the pictures
(sorry I couldn't resize some of them, no time...)

What a cool looking snake! I love when people find wild animals that you can handle easily. It's a very good learning expierence. Thanks for sharing.

When my dad was younger, he found a snake in the middle of the road and put it in the grass. In the morning, it was still their so he kept it and had it for about 4 years. :)
