Hi, my name is Ben.
I was adopted from Rehoming Unsettled Animals because my new Mom has a beautiful girl named Tribble who lost her two older boyfriends. They were both so sad about it. Tribble just sat in her litter box all day. Mom went on Petfinder and found me. Then I was taken to my forever home to meet my new potential girlfriend. (Don't worry, we are both "fixed.")
Mom put Tribble and me in the shower stall (no water of course) on our first meeting. Her pets are always bonded there because it is neutral territory and we were both a little afraid, so we clung to each other. For a few days we spent the day in the bathroom and at night we went back in our cage. The first two nights Mom put the divider between us. We could see each other, but could not get to each other. When she was sure we would get along, she took the divider out.
I am now a happy and relaxed bunny enjoying life thanks to the foster parents who took care of me and found my forever home.
Mom here: Ben is a sweetheart, but not the groomer Ricky was, Tribble has to come to him and put her head under him for him to start grooming. He was up for adoption for over a year, so I guess he is used to being alone. He's just a calm guy, not at all territorial. Ben seems to love his new home. He tries to fit in but not dominate in any way. And the best part is Tribble is once again happy. That's what counts.
