Chula is a one-year-old silver black undermarked Berkshire rat. Chula's previous owner had to rehome her due to her severe fear aggression. She had anxiety so bad that she would have black-out panic attacks. She wanted so badly to be loved, but she was so terrified of being loved at the same time. Chula came from a pet store where she had been locked upin a box in the back for unknown reasons. Everyone thought Chula was a lost cause. She was, honestly, in the worst mental shape I have ever seen in a pet rat.
But I didn't give up on Chula, I just couldn't. I worked so hard to help her overcome her issues, to teach her that humans can be friendly, and trustworthy, and it worked. Now, she no longer bites and she actually craves attention. I learned that she is such a smart and caring little girl. She just needed someone to give her a chance. Because of her, I know that NO animal is ever a lost cause. Chula is such an amazing little girl and has taught me so much. I love her to pieces.
