Sunflower is my precious third adopted "child." Sunny is litter-box trained so he can have full run of the house. He's an adventurous little explorer, who doesn't understand the meaning of fear. He's the dominant pet in my household, chasing my sister's basset hound and flirting with my cat. Sunny is fine wearing clothes, is leash trained, and dreams of being a professional tunneler. Everything can become a bunny warren in his eyes.
I've actually owned many rabbits in the past, thanks to my female Noel, but when I moved to the city I had to give them all away. Sunflower is my first house rabbit in the sense that unlike my first rabbit, he has free run of the place.
Sunny is very friendly, especially if there are yogis (basically yogurt drops) or veggies around! He's not the cuddliest bunny, but instead prefers affection at his level. A favorite parlor trick he performs is "climbing mountains," where the guest has Sunny climb on their back. My friends love it. He is very mischievous, climbing on the the table, the computer desk, and any other high spot.
One picture is from last summer when he went to the beach! He didn't mind wading in the bay, but when he swam he wasn't so sure. We'll work on it. I think he just needs more time to get used to it. We all love Sunflower!
