This
is Jerry, our Blue Fronted Amazon. Jerry is special because he can
talk. Jerry can say and sing many things. One of our favorite things
Jerry sings is "Who let the dogs out". Jerry sings this song all the
time, occasionally bobbing his head to the music. Jerry is a very fun,
sweet bird that happens to be trying to eat my necklace as I type to you
about how sweet he is.
Jerry greets everyone with one of the three "Hellos" he can say, he's
very sassy and feisty, but thats what we love about him. Over the years
we've had Jerry, he's picked up numerous things that my family members and
I say everyday. He's picked up things like "Pretty boy" "Good boy"
"Come-on" "I love you" "I love you Jerry" "I love you Jer" and much
more. And actually, right now we are in the process of teaching him to
sing happy birthday, and believe it or not, he's got the "Happy birthday
to you" part pact down.
We love Jerry and he's definitely a great pet.
