About Us
Molly, the Pet of the Day
Name: Molly
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Kind: Guinea Pig
Home: New Jersey, USA

Hi! My name is Molly. My previous owner dropped me and my three babies off at the animal welfare association a couple of months ago. We lived there for a few weeks with some other guinea pigs, gerbils, and hamsters as our neighbors. Then, three weeks ago, two really nice people came to the shelter and held and petted all of my babies. They seemed really nice, and I wanted to go home with them so badly! Well, wouldn't you know, all of a sudden, they were holding me - and they decided to take me home with them! Now I have a great home with my new human friends, Linda and Larry. They put me in a big house with a shelf to sit on and an igloo to sleep in. I also have a rack of hay that is always full (although I like to squeak for food when I hear the bag of hay opening up--just to let them know how much I like it)! I love to be held by my humans and to perch up on their shoulders to get a good view of what's going on. I hope that all of my purring and squeaking are enough to let them know how much I love them and my new home.
