This
is my girl Jewels. She is a Blue and Gold Macaw, two years old
and lives with me in Glenwood, Iowa. She is very smart and is so much
fun and company. She yells at the dog and loves to go outside and
even likes the riding lawnmower. She can talk pretty well and if left
alone will come off her cage to come looking for me. She is a lot of
work to care for but worth every bit of it. If you don't know about
birds, let me tell you they are very intelligent. Bringing one into
your home and heart is something that needs to be thought out and
researched, not just impulsively purchased. That does a terrible
injustice to the bird. I have had Jewels for nineteen months now and
she is the best thing that ever happened to me. Here she is eating an
ice cream cone.
