This
is my little baby parakeet who turned a year old in May. His
name is Wittle Bird and he is a little devil. I got him as a baby at
a local pet store in South Philadelphia. I never had a bird like him!
He is so playful and funny! In the picture, he is rolling over like a
dog. Do birds usually do this? He also picks up barbells and roll
over too. I guess he thinks he is lifting weights. I throw paper and
balls to him and he chases them. He really enjoys playing like that.
I also took him outside as a baby after I clipped his wings. He
learned to and enjoys playing with the sparrows and crows when they
come to get bread I throw out for them. He imitates the sparrows hops
and chases them. They are afraid of him. Only once a crow came after
him but didn't hurt him. He wants to go out daily. All of my
neighbors love him and I have even had people stop in their cars to
see him when he is outside. He is my "Wittle Bird."
