Shvedi
is a 12 year old shepherd (a mix of Belgian & German) dog.
He is a special breed - a soul of a lamb in a body of a wolf. He is a
very gentle dog. He likes people, especially kids, and he is sure that all
the creatures were made by God only for him - to play. My friend described
him the other day as a "12 year old puppy."
He likes water in all forms - rain, snow, lakes, streams, sea - and even
having a bath (in the yard with the irrigation pipe). He is crazy about
snow, but here he enjoys it only about once in five years, since real snow
is a rare phenomenon in Jerusalem. As you can see - this year he is lucky
enough to have as much fun as he pleases. He also likes to collect huge
branches in the woods and walks long distance with a little tree in his
mouth.
Shvedi is in good shape for a 12 year old shepherd, and I hope to enjoy his
company in years to come.
