Upcoming show in Toledo (2006)

I know it is early, but time always goes by so quickly, and I am forgetful, so while I am thinking about it...

The Mid-Michigcan Cat Fancier's Show is in Maumee, Ohio, January 15-16, 2006. Kimmy and I went last year, and it was a nice show. Lots of cats!!

The Mutt Show, at the SeaGate Center in Toledo, is February 11, 2006. We had a great group of PT there last year, and Kia was the best snow dog mix!! I *think* they are planning a larger area this year, and I have also heard rumors there will be a pure-bred class as well.

I know weather in Ohio can be quite tricky that time of year, but keep the dates in mind!

I just got a call today from the Show Coordinators asking if I'd like to enter Kia again. I thanked them for the call but declined. Kia won last year so it's time to give others a chance. :)

Yeah!!! I should warn you, if it is anything like aslt year...it gets crowded! We will try to stay close to the therapy dog booth, at least until anyone we know is coming gets there, so we can be found!

The map says we did a whole 0.8 miles (8 tenths of a mile) in the Park this

At this point, Andy, Kia, and I are maybe's. With the wedding coming up soon, and gas prices going up and down, up and down, we've been trying to travel less to squirrel away money.

Phred and his crew and Carrie and Gabbie all came! It was not nearly as crowded as last year (although still crowded!) Had a great day, and of course missed all our friends!

Bowser made a good showing in the fastest eating contest....I think he finshed about 3 out of 12-15 dogs!!


I also forget to mention, my sister called at 6:30...he had just seen Cinder and Smoke and Sadie and Cincy and Spot on the 6:00 news!! We will have a tap ready for 11 incase they repeat the footage!!!

Yep, Dad paid a Buck to put Bowser inna "Fastest Eating Kontest - 20-45# Division."

They hadda good spot - onna end anna guy next plate over sorta turned his back - nobody ta "bother" da Bowz.
Took a while to get da Kontest "started" - Bowz lost a minnit affore he figgered out da Dinner Bell had *RUNG*.
Dad's purdy sure he only missed being a winner by about 4 pieces a Krunch onna plate!
Black Labbie won - he musta skipped brunch!
Ralph consoled Bowser wiffa thought that at least he got an Extra Meal outta da deal!

Best in Show went to the "Snow Dog Look-Alike" - but we ALL thunk
Kia kudda won inna heartbeat!

Aww, sounds wonderful! So good to SEE Phred up and about! Congratualtions Bowser, good job in the chow line! The pictures are wonderful, blurry & all. We're looking forward to Memorial Day even more now! We did take time to go to the dogpark today, and the goldens, Baby & Max, were there! Hopin' they'll join the PT group for the picnic this year too.

Great pics! I really wish I would have came up for it, especialy after talking to Amy and seeing the pics. As she said though, it was really weird, I was watching the news and I was telling Jasmine to look at the doggies on tv. All of a sudden, I'm like, what a pretty, wait, we know that dalmation, it's Spot, with Cincy and Sadie by his side, hey and there's Cinder and Smoke in the next shot, wow. How cool! So I had to call big sis to let her know. Hope they had it on again at 11 so she and Ralph could see. I fell asleep with Jasmine so I have no idea what happened after about 10:30 pm last night, lol!
